(Volunteer position)

Two Event Volunteer positions are available to manage the guest registration prior to an Event held on Wednesday 25th March 2020 at the Grace Hotel in Sydney.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in guest registration and event management assisting on a real event. You will be required under supervision to manage the gust bookings and coordinate the name cards prior to the event. On the day you will be assisting on the registration desk, meeting guests and answering inquiries relating to the function.

On the 25th March the lunch commences at 12am. You will be required to attend the registration desk between 11:30am and 12:45pm. When the lunch commences you will be able to attend and listen to the guest presenter, enjoy the food and network with some of the Hospitality Industry  Leaders.

You will also receive a letter of appreciation from Tourism Training Australia.

Great Opportunity (Volunteer position)

Tourism Hospitality and Catering Institute of Australia (THCIA)  is holding its 2019 Presidents Dinner on Monday Evening December 2nd 2019.

We are looking for students to volunteer at this High Profile Event at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel in the City from 4:30 pm to 9:30pm.

Several opportunities are available to assist in various aspects of the event on the night, including guest registration and support through the night. Preparation of the room and supporting the organizers during the evening.

Dinner will be provided for you on the night as well as a letter of thanks for your participation from Tourism Hospitality and Catering Institute of Australia.

Exciting News : Just Announced New Volunteer Positions

Assisting at the Australian Culinary Federation VIP area during the Sydney Fine Food Fair

Dates for this event are:

Monday 9th September

Tuesday 10th September

Wednesday 11th September

Thursday 12th September

Two shifts are available each day 7:30 am to 1pm and 12:30 to 6pm

Ten (10) students are needed each day and if you have some knife skills as a chef this could be an advantage.

Five students are required to be front of house and 5 in the back of house.

Staff are required for The ATCC National Symposium 2019 Industry Leaders and Educators Engagement being held at NSW State Parliament House in Sydney on September 3rd and 4th 2019.

Students are most welcome to apply for positions to gain experience in Event Management and insight to the Travel industry. Several opportunities are available for new staff and we welcome individuals that may not have much experience as training and supervision is provided. You will gain hands on experience in Customer Service , Delegate support and registration, Set up and break down of event, assisting with sponsor stands and general support in all areas of the event.

Several positions are available for Industry Professionals as supervisors for this event.
